The Group Delivery Director is responsible for orchestrating complex, multi-location software delivery across Matrix42’s growing portfolio of products and solutions. Reporting directly to the CTO, this leader ensures that programs are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with the company’s strategic roadmap and quality standards.
Operating at a level comparable to a Director of Engineering, the Group Delivery Director focuses on coordinating teams, processes, and resources to successfully manage the transition from on-premises legacy products toward a cloud-native, multi-tenant SaaS environment. This includes integrating newly acquired teams and product lines following the firm’s recent M&A activity. A key aspect of the role is establishing robust Agile and DevOps practices, cultivating a culture of ownership and continuous improvement, and driving operational excellence across geographically dispersed teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Delivery & Program Management
- Oversee end-to-end delivery of complex software initiatives across multiple teams and geographies, ensuring alignment with the product roadmap.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for program stakeholders, providing updates on status, risks, and issues.
- Define delivery program objectives, scope, schedules, and milestones in collaboration with engineering, QA, and product management.
- Develop and maintain project and portfolio plans, ensuring all key milestones are met on time and within budget.
- Track program progress and performance, identifying and resolving roadblocks early.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate and line-manage a team of Delivery Managers, along with QA, Product Managers, and Engineering resources to ensure end-to-end program success.
- Drive a culture of innovative, self-organizing, autonomous Agile/Scrum teams that adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Actively foster communication and collaboration across departments, promoting transparency and consistent reporting.
- Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success teams to ensure smooth delivery of customer commitments and technical solutions.
- Partner with Product Management to define and maintain technical product roadmaps that align with market demands and customer needs.
Cloud & Transformation Leadership
- Support Matrix42's ongoing transformation from on-premise solutions to a cloud-native and microservices-based platform.
- Oversee efforts to integrate newly acquired product lines or third-party solutions, ensuring technical compatibility and seamless onboarding into the Matrix42 ecosystem.
- Contribute to optimizing DevOps workflows and CI/CD pipelines, advocating best practices and AI-driven enhancements.
Operational Excellence
- Establish and enforce consistent methodologies, processes, and metrics for software delivery and governance.
- Partner with senior technology leaders to address technical debt, modernize legacy systems, and ensure scalability for future growth.
- Lead continuous improvements in code quality, platform stability, security, and cost-effectiveness.
- Using data-driven approaches and metrics, this leader will establish KPIs and reporting frameworks to measure delivery effectiveness, team productivity, and engineering excellence across the organization.
Team Leadership & Coaching
- Provide daily guidance, coaching, and mentoring to multi-country engineering and delivery teams.
- Champion skills development and career progression for team members, fostering a culture of accountability and results-oriented performance.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for program delivery, reviewing technical proposals and offering constructive feedback to teams.
